In celebration of Yogi Bhajan and all the blessings that he shared with us in his life, we will join the global Kundalini Yoga community in celebrating Yogi Bhajan’s birthday on Sunday, August 25th.
We will be chanting 2.5 hours Long Ek Ong Kars. This is one of the original practices given by Yogi Bhajan. It is a powerful meditation to open and activate the chakra system.
Following chanting we will gather at the French Meadow Bakery for breakfast.
Then at 1pm we will come together again to honor Yogi Bhajan's life of service with some Karma Yoga. By offering your time and abilities to serve something selflessly and work for the common good you burn off your Karmic debts. We will picking up trash this year, bring your own trash bag and work gloves. Location: Meet in the parking lot at the intersection of Summit Ave and Mississippi River Road, we'll head north from there.
