A Whole Life Cleanse
Spring is near and it’s the perfect time to get out of your own way. As the trees are budding and seedlings are sprouting, in this intensive we clear the way and create fertile ground for what we want to grow in our life. By letting go of behaviors and thoughts that no longer serve you create space for a deeper, more harmonious alignment. In this meditation intensive, we’ll clear the path and create space to sow new seeds for the spring season. Through the practice of letting go, clarity, purpose, vision, often arise. The intensive format is an ideal format to create a regular meditation practice with the support of like-minded people and a dedicated teacher.
There are three distinct stages in this practice intensive:
Week 1: Aligning—Making Peace with the Past & Present
Week 2: Letting go—Releasing negative patterns and thoughts
Week 3: Getting into the flow—Connecting to Your Path & the Universe
Week 4: Closing Circle
Sundays: March 12th, March 19th, 26th, and April 2nd at 7pm CST
About the meditations:
The meditations come from the Kundalini Yoga tradition and work together in a synergistic way.
What you get:
-Each week we’ll have a group class where I’ll explain and guide you through a meditation, answer any questions. (30-45 minutes)
-I’ll send you supporting questions for reflection for each week. The questions address different aspects the week’s theme.
-FB group where I pop in at least once a day to answer questions.
-I’ll offer 4 hours of “Office Hours” each week, so that you can sign up for a 20 minute Skype/phone call with me to talk about anything that’s coming up for you or any questions.
-Supporting articles, poems, excerpts on the week’s theme.
-Ideas for structuring for your practice. For example, some people commit to 5 minutes once/day, 5 minutes 3x/day, 11 minutes 2x/day, etc
Flowing with nature
This intensive intentionally coincides with the moon cycles and vernal equinox. We begin near the Full Moon and to New Moon we are primarily releasing. As we move from the New moon to full moon we are primarily focussing on opening, creating, and manifesting.
The vernal equinox is a powerful time of the year to practice meditation and make shifts in your life. Prior to the equinox, we have more darkness and less daylight. The Equinox is the balancing point of lightness and darkness. After the equinox, we have more light, warmth, and energy.
