Meditation has many health benefits, such as stress relief and emotional balance. This six week session will cover the basic elements of meditation and yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Simple instructions followed by practice with postures, breath, mental focus and mantra will allow you to gradually calm your mind and thoughts. Each class will include yoga exercises to prepare the body, relaxation to calm the nervous system and one or more meditations. Wear comfortable clothes for movement. Donations are gratefully accepted. No one is turned away. This six week session will run from April 17 to May 22 in the lower studio; enter the studio through rear of building.
